Cu na Lu. My 23' gleoiteog pronounced glowchug, a small type of Galway hooker, in Sligo Bay a few years ago,Sadly had to sell it to a family friend but still sail it with him. Built about 1909 by Casey on Mweenish Island, near Carna, Co Galway she draws 3' and weighs about two ton, a half ton of that ballast. The name means "Hound of Louth". A great sailing craft !!
