Wonderful photo! That looks like a tug owned by Vokins? Is the name visible on the original.
The stadium in the background was the Polytechnic stadium where I played football at 15 in 1958.
We had our schools sports day there as well. Many thanks for listing pappag.
Can the MTB being towed away being identified?

Scorcher it's a Fairmile B and may be the one that was lived on by another member of this site?, he has indicated it was moved to another mooring on the Thames later on after his Parent's sold it. It looks like the same one being pulled through the Lock Gates

The letters I can only just make out on the tug look like AL--DON but I can't be sure. Chadburn is correct, It's a Fairmile b and it's Keewaydin; the boat I was born on. pappag.

The tug is ALCYDON of Alpha Towage blt 1937 39 tgrt. with a similar funnel marking to Vokins.
