Wonderful series of photos of Dar Jaceva.
I was Port Engineer at the time. My office, which is just out shot, and would have been obscured by the boatman's neck, had the best view in town looking up the harbour. Nostalgia, just what this site is about.
I would be delighted to receive any additional Dar pictures that you did not post, and would be pleased to give you info on Dar. Sorry, no pictures.

Glad to have brought back some memories for you Aleric.
Unfortunately, I have only one other photo of Dar.
I didn't bother posting as it was rather similar to the one above and besides the view is partially obscured by a boatman's hat. However I shall post it now just in case it's of any interest - at least you might be able to identify the tug.

Many thanks jaceva, sorry that it has taken me a whole year to see it.
Have added a few comments to your other Dar pictures for info.
The yellow launch on the pontoon belonged to AGIP, and ferried workers to and from the refinery which was sited on the peninsula on east side of the harbour.
Again, many thanks.
