"Condor 10" (Hull 030) lying at Incat's jetty in April 2001 in the livery of Tylos Ferry. She had arrived from Devonport on September 25th 1999 after a brief charter to TT-Line on Bass Strait, filling in for "Spirit of Tasmania" during her time off with fuel problems. The Persian Gulf Tylos Ferry operation didn't come to fruitition and "Condor 10" eventually departed Hobart for English Channel service.

I heard that there was problems about Condor 10 operating in the Gulf as there was presently nothing operating at the speeds she was capable of there and there was arguments over what the speed limit was going to be which ended up spelling the end of the vessel operating there.

Not true. The reason for her failure to go to Tylos couldn't be further from this speculation.
