Many happy memories of this little liner! However, her cabins were a nightmare! Tiny and cramped. Bathroom (if you were lucky enough to get one!) were so small you could sit on the john and wash your feet in the shower and your hair in the sink! Still - she was quite a delightful ship with a very happy crew!

Same here Sun Viking, my first 3 day cruise on her was in May 1981. My late husband and I were travel agents then...aaah just wonderful memories. I did get to sail on her when Cape Canaveral Cruise Line owned her and was able to get more interior photos of her. Wish I had been able to do the same with some of the earlier cruise ships I sailed on.

Yes, and she still has the Ulysses Line funnel marking in this photo. I had not realised that she had carried that for some years after becoming Dolphin as she was transferred to Dolphin Cruise Line in 1978.

DOLPHIN IV carried the Ulysses livery through the late '80s, and was marketed as a Ulysses product. She here for another photo of her which I took in 1986:
