"Earl of Zetland" ran for the North of Scotland Orkney and Shetland Shipping Co from Lerwick to the northern Shetlands. Schedule was three trips per week to Yell, Unst and Whalsay and once a week to Skerries and Fetlar where transfer of passengers and cargo was by tender ('flit' boat).

She never looked lik yun lying aside da Steamers Pier! I wonder what Willie Sinclair would think of her now. Still it is good to see she hasn't become razor blades or the like!

Last time I was on board her, she was looking a bit dilapidated and the restaurant was closed.
See my model of her in the model boats section.
