Drummed Bitumen could be a nightmare especially if they were second-hand drums. Leaks, spillages , the lot , but, looking at that photograph , the stevedores look as though they know what they're doing by the way they have floored out with the dunnage. Personally, I preferred using plywood sheets as dunnage which often annoyed the cargo superintendent due to that wee bitextra cost. anyone would have thought it was his money(Jester)
