During early 1960s dunnage was replaced by 8'x4' plyboards on West African coast traders, Palm Line,Guinea Gulf and E.D.s..The boards were marked 'reject' but most were of good quality and came from the sawmills of Sapele etc.
Many garden sheds in Tilbury and Grays were built from them....
