As far as I recall she never joined the rest of the fleet in the liner trades, e.g. Aus-Japan, Calcutta-Japan and HK-North Borneo, but tramped. I was only on board once and found her as well accommodated/equipped as the other newer ships in the ICSN Co., Ltd. fleet and the officers seemed to be content out of the mainstream of the company.
