It's quite a few years since I loaded at Le-Legue but don't recall a drying out berth.I can distinctly remember going through a lock and loading on the begining of a canal? It was rather a long time ago though. Les

They have built a new quay just as you pass the breakwater (Red) you go immediately to Port and you are on the New quay and as you can see it drys out completely and the dredging is done by an excavator that loads a tractor and trailer and takes the spoil away and tips, this is done about 2 hrs either side of Low water.
I used to prefer it much more before in the Harbour basin, do you remember the nice agent Madame something ???

The last time I was there I was on the 'Pig' and can remember a dockers cafe/bar on the quay where you could get a cordon bleau meal for a couple of francs, or at least itseemed like that after the food on that particular ship. Best wishes Les
