Would these be of the group which included the Empire Peacemaker, story of their construction and conversion sounds about the same.
I ask because a group of families who were doing a cruise in the Blue Ranger had to return to Malta on the Peacemaker when the Suez crisis blew up.
The background of the ship has been of interest for a while.

Although designed as warships these five were never completed as such so do not belong in RN ships.
The hull and machinery were the same as other 'Castles' details can be found on the Knaresborough Castles image : HERE
