One of the Panamanians - tell by the Esso on the bows. I think it's Esso Libya or Esso Spain. Since I cannot see the forard part properly I'd have to add Esso Austria to the mix too. My pick is Esso Spain but that's just on livery.

You must have been keeping an eye on Hamble and Fawley about the same time I was. At the time I was living in Portsmouth. The first time I went I got a train from Cosham (north Portsmouth) to Hamble Halt and walked down from there. I recall (one always does the first time) Esso El Salvador and World Guidance at Fawley.
Eventually I realised the best way to go was over the Gosport Ferry, bus to Hill Head, and then walk along the cliffs. I think that's where this photo was taken from.

Happy days then....I was working in London but visiting my folks who were retired
on the Isle of Wight. I always took a trip by Red Funnel (car ferry) from
East Cowes to Southampton with my camera ready. Not a world cruise but very enjoyable.I didnt take many shots but today they seem special ships!.
