Ex Amble Lifeboats

Both still around lifeboy, 44-005 now Whitby pilot boat St Hilda of Whitby and 37-30 at Aberystwith now with her original name Harold Salvesen

Yeah i have seen some photos Galley boy , Nelsons done up the salvesen and 005 went straight to whitby once she was painted out of RNLI colours, I wonder when the next one in the sequence will happen??.

Lifeboy, we've seen some changes over the decades, that's Rejoice, Radiant Morn, Star Divine, True Vine, Claytonia in the background.

Yeah rodney , apart from the Star Divine working out of Amble and the True Vine up North i think the rest have all gone, Is it the Claytonia astern of the T.V or the Summer Rose it`s that long since i took the photo .

I know that Chris had Claytonia in 86 when that photo was taken but I'm not sure if Alan had the Summer Rose then.

I think he had her pre 84 if my memory serves me right

Just had a look at another photo taken at the same time and the Claytonia is at the oil berth so that puts Alan behind the TV

it is the summer rose i 1st started alan in 85
