F169 - HMS Amazon

Nice photo. Type 21's had the reputation of the speed boats of the fleet in their day. I always did like the lines

looks more like a corvette than frigate. on another point were all RN ships armed?

I'd say most of them are armed. I sailed onboard HMS Manly in my days as a Sea Cadet. She is a fleet tender, part of the school at HMS Raleigh. There were three ships in the squadron, Mentoer & Milbrook being the other two. As far as I can remember, there were no weapons onboard.
