You always present pictures with a good color composition Torrens, you must have some software and understanding of its use the rest of us lacks I suspect. This one anyway is particularly harmonious, while being crisply sharp at the same time. I've got the free Gimp program (which some say competes with Photoshop but for the nonaccess to the Pantone system), and have just found the strangely named "Unsharp Filter," that does not blur, but highlights highlights (a bright stripe gets brighter), and so make objects crisper. But I have not yet gotten to the point where I can use "layers," so as far as I can ascertain I haven't really started utilizing the possibilities yet.
Whatever your methods, before or after exposure, this one really comes close to being for real.

Interesting this derrick-derrickpost system on this one. I asked about it regarding an earlier posted photo and got it explained then, but here it is quite self explanatory. Regards, Stein.

Just noticed one wee thing, the previous like-named Federal ship, built in 1917 had her name spelt Westmoreland, this one, when she was in the same ownership had her name spelt Westmorland. Curious, I thought.

It was actually WESTMORELAND on the building berth and was altered prior to her launch. The locals in that area then tended to pronounce it as West-MORE-land!!
