Forsvik

A Danish newspaper photo from the beginning of the 1960s.

Perhaps a Norwegian ship - the port of registry could be Kristiansand.

Thanks very much, Tomi for this final confirmation.

I thought, it was a Norwegian ship registered at Kristiansand. She appears to be a Swedish ship ( Brostrøm ) registered in Kristinehamn but chartered to the Norwegian Jebsen Co.

Kristinehamn is as mall town upon Lake Vänen in Sweden, and Kristiansand is located on "Sörlannet" in Norway. This ship would never had been to here homeport Kristinehamn on Lake Vänen as the Lock's in Göta Kanal can only facilitate ship to a length of about 80 meter. The company that owned the ship was Ångbåts AB Ferm, one of the many companies Broström brought upover the years.
