Looks like Elmina or Enugu Palm ahead of Patani

What sort of rudder has she got? Looks like the effective bit is just waggling around above the water line.

It is just a trick of the light John. Like the iceberg, there really is another 9/10ths of the same below the water-line.

Patani with her added section to her funnel. She was launched at Scotts' at Greenock on a Sat as high winds had prevented her going into the water on Friday. I was an apprentice engineer there and got a ticket to take my girl friend (now wife!) in on a Sat. aftrenoon to see the launch.
A novel day out for a teenage girl I admit, but I started as I meant to go on!
