I put this FPSO on location on the Montedison Field off Mila in Italy she was there from 1985 to 1987. She then went to Gombe Morin in Gabon for Amoco 1987 to 1988 then Safuciro in Angola for Agip from 1988 to 1989 then to Talisman Australia for Marathon in 1989 to 1992. She was then sold on by Bluewater her owners to make way for the second generation FPSO,s

Norm / Nev,
she was built by J.L. Thompson & Sons at Sunderland in 1966 ( Yard no. 716 ) for Shell Tankers (UK) Ltd., as " Daphnella".

37,784 g.t. & 71,171 dwt.

Sold in 1980 to Philippine owners and renamed " Philippine Star",
there then followed a series of owners and flags until her conversion to an FPSO.

Laid up at Singapore from 10/08/1992 until sold to Bangladesh breakers, arriving at Chittagong prior to 20/07/1995 for demolition.

Rick
