A water colour of the Lowestoft motor drifter, GEORGE SPASHETT, heading out of the harbour into a stiff easterly breeze.
This was worked from a well known monochrome photograph by Ford Jenkins.
Wonderful. The contrasted brightness and overall softness gives a great illusion of real light, the subdued warm colurs with the yellow centre are pleasantly harmonious. The Tate Gallery should be alerted. Regards, Stein.
