Heard she fell off on the slip,probably broke a few ribs.

she did fall out from the pier when being dryed out on the hard standing and burst her, they lifted her out the water the other night and her back broke.
they said she was 33 ton with ballast when they set her on the boat trolley the trolley broke, now there pulling planks off her to get the ballast out.

I have a good film clip of the Girl Mina during a staged rescue by RNLB Grace Paterson Ritchie for the do***entary "Lifeboat 70-002", although I think it was towed in for real on quite a few other occasions, including the day of the Longhope funeral service.

I saw a few boats being broken up on site of Irvins yard at Peterhead a few years ago, behind where the new shiplift is now, they lifted the boat by crane and laid her down on top of a low concrete wall with result that she broke her back, sad sight to see.
