I was still 16 years old, as 2nd R/O on Laomedon, when I berthed here and still can't forget the warmth of the Liverpudlians, which I know extended to seamen of all nationalities.
Almost married a lovely Liverpool lass but that's another story!

Docking at Huskington,I belive it is, we could'nt wait to get ashore.Across the street was the Dominion Pub which(==D) (==D) served as our first watering hole before heading up town to Paliament Street for us WI seamen. During the afternoon it was the bookie shop just a few doors from the Dominion to play the ponies.
