This ship is not the GLENROY I knew and sailed 7 voyages in. She is, in fact, the Blue Funnel ship, DEMODOCUS, renamed GLENROY.

Hello Hugh
I took this photo in May 1971 -it is noted in my work diary as Glenroy.
I was driving the crane and after lifting the tank lids off I put a pump and pipes aboard.
The latex was pumped ashore to Symington's tanks.
About five hours work then pump and pipes were taken off and the ship then sailed for London with a river pilot and George Atkinson mud pilot..
George was my neighbour.
