Brunel's SS Great Britain en route from Sparrow Cove in the Falkland Islands where she was scuttled in 1937, to be restored in Bristol.
The ship was on a pontoon, the Mulus III, towed by the German tug Varius II.
The tow started on april 24th 1970 and ended on July 5th.

i think this was what people were expecting when they brought the MARY Rose up, not the pile of logs they got!

On Common Bros Iron Crown passed her when bound for Vitoria, Brazil. Passed her again on the way home about three weeks later.
