I assume this is the same Gute that Brambles were operating on the Bass Strait service into Tasmania?

I remember her well, she replaced one of the Brambles vessels which had to undergo extensive modifications at Port Lincoln.
She also drydocked at Duke and Orr at the end of her Melbourne - Burnie run and was delivered back to the Owners Gotland Rederi, however, by memory at the time she belonged to the Stena Line (or are these connected?).

The "Gute" was built in Sweden in 1979 and was lengthened with some 20 metres in Gdynia in 2004. She is in fact a ro/ro ship.

I belive this ship also spent some time in UK waters on charter to Sally Ferries on the Ramsgate/Dunkirk service, mid- 90's.?
