HALCYON DAYS

A 12751 ton tanker built by Marinens Hovedverft at Horten, Norway and launched as Edith Borthen on 21 October 1957 for A/S Oljefart II and Skibs A/S Motortank, Oslo, Norway. She was diesel powered with a service speed of 14.5 knots.
She was sold to Court Line Ltd., London in 1963 and renamed Halcyon Days, as shown in this photograph taken at Swansea on 31 May 1973.
However, with the collapse of Court Line in the early 1970s she was sold to Las Minas Cia Naviera Panamena SA, Panama and renamed Halcon.
She was broken up at Gandia beginning 24 November 1976.
