This vessel is a replica of Henry Hudson's "Half Moon", seen docking at Piermont, New York in June 2009. the town in the background is Irvington, New York. the Half Moon was sailing up the river to commemorate the 400 anniversary of Henry Hudson's discovery of the Hudson River.

yes bit of finger trubble methinks...see other photo of USS Canberra in 1944...although the one above is quite a small and difficult target for the Kamikaze

Caption came out wrong. This is a replica of Henry Hudson's "Half Moon", docking at Piermont, New York in June 2009. The town in the background is Irvington, New York. She was sailing up the River to commemorate Henry Hudson's discovery of the Hudson River in 1609.
