A great overview of Halifax harbour.

Polish Ocean Lines BATORY is in view, she was decommissioned on the 02 June 1971 so the photo was taken before then. Also what looks like an Italian Line vessel ahead of the BATORY, she doesn't quite look like the LEONARDO DA VINCI, maybe the CRISTOFORO COLOMBO?

By 1966 the Italian Line had adopted a fleet wide livery of a white hull and the CRISTOFORO COLOMBO was painted white in 1966. If the vessel is the CRISTOFORO COLOMBO then the photo was taken prior to 1966 rather than the 1970's as stated in the photo caption.

I'm sure that someone will clearly identify the Italian Line vessel "cue Stephen", as well as the other vessel's.

Can't help on the identification score I'm afraid. Not surprising as I wouldn't have known where this is unless informed. I suppose it's because '50s and '60s memories were on a 'flat', earthly plain rather than looking down from above.
