"Hazel" (1907, 1,219 grt) of Laird Line, TSS with 4cyl triple expansion engines giving 18 knots. Just arrived from Ardrossan and heeling under weight of passengers (pass capacity 1,019) inc many day trippers, waiting to disembark. Large numbers on the quay so I wonder if she did a coastal cruise for local patrons before the return sailing? The service was discontinued with the advent of WW1 and post war "Hazel" was purchased by the Isle of Man SP Co, as their "Mona" and served the island till sold for breaking in 1938.
