Built by Goole Shipbuilding in 1941, RNN Jeloy '44-'46, Then Merc in '46 as the Artemis, lost in 1960.

Thanks for the posting of HMS Shiant, japot.
I posted a photograph of HMS EARRAID some time back.
My father served in her as C.P.O. for quite a while when stationed in Iceland.

7.1949 cut in tywo and lengthened to 173ft 4ins x 27ft 5ins
1951 sold to Strindheims Rederi A/S Trondheim
4.1952 sold to Franseco Boero fu Antonia Mogadisco
31.7.60 sank 40 miles NE Obbia in a gale loaded with rice en route from Aden to Mogadisco
