HMAS HOBART (III) [DDG39] - She is the first of the 3 Hobart class guided missile destroyers & the third ship to bear the name.
Built for the RAN by ASC in Adelaide & commissioned on 23/9/17 Length - 146.7 m. Beam - 18.6 m. Draught - 7.2 m. Displ. - 7000 tonnes. Speed - 28+ knots. Crew – 180.
Shown outbound in the River Derwent following her inaugural visit to the city that bears her name.
