These look so much more purposeful (low, lean, and mean) than the Yank ones, which seem huge and 'heavy'. Just hope the carrying capacity is comparable.

They dont seem to have the charisma (if a ship can have such a thing) as the Fearless and Intrepid.

Maybe not, but they are a darn sight better 'looking' than the RFA's Bay Class

Great picture Dan!! I know what you mean Macca, Fearless and Intrepid (and many others) just had a certain something thats missing these days. To me the Batch 3 22's were the last design with any flair. Albion and Bulwark are probably fine ships, but they just look wrong to me. The Bays are not beauties either but when moored close to one these they certainly looked more imposing in the metal!

Of course, Albion & Bulwark (in the interests of cost savings) don't have full hanger space or facilities which gives them a foreshortened look.
