After the Falklands War did her Wessex (Humphrey) stay attached to her? Or was it transfered to the Fleet Air Arm museum. She really must have been a mighty ship.

I don't know that, wazim. I read, after the Falklands War the ANTRIM was the leadership (?) - in german Flaggschiff - at the operation "Parquet" for the returnconquest of South Georgia. In 1984 she was off duty and sold to Chile.
Sorry, wazim and all, my english is very bad. But I hope, you understand what I mean.
Best Regards

Hi Wazim, all 3 remaining County class carried Lynx helicopters soon after 1982 as the Wessex HAS 3's were very near the end of their careers, I'm sure Humphrey went straight to Yeovilton on Antrim's return.

Hi Craig,
Thanks alot, was reading about the damage to Santa Fe and HMS Antrims exploits , in a Yeovilton Museum brochure not too long ago. If ever you are in the North East England. The North East aircraft museum in Sunderland has a Pucara on display, think it is on loan, with the bullet holes still showing , worth a visit to see as well as the Vulcan in the yard.
