Former Royal Netherlands Navy sea-going torpedo-boat Z 5. Sailed to UK in 1940 when Germany occupied Holland. Taken over by the Royal Navy and renamed HMS Blade. Built 1916, one of a class of four (Z5 - Z8). Converted in 1932 to become a Patrol Boat which altered her original appearance.

Served as a submarine tender to the 7th Flotilla for most of WWII. Broken up at Troon in 1945 - The West of Scotland Shipbreaking Company Limited.
