The stern view showing a dogs breakfast of luxury fittings being added during HMS Bulldogs conversion into a luxury yacht. Amongst items to be stuffed in the backside was a jet-ski with an enormous horsepower capable of 85 knots!!! The swimming pool was to have a current flowing through it to enable you to continously swim without touching an end!!At which I suppose one could say this end, the blunt one is not particularly beaut.

After the fire which did not do huge damage the owner lost interest .... I think she was towed away this year .. 2007

Hi Barnsey, I've attached a picture of a slightly more successful conversion of one this class.

The Titan was converted at Poole opposite the Sunseeker factory. I was told at the time that she was the old Bulldog but it turns out she was the ex-Beagle. I wonder what happened to the Fox and Fawn? Pretty little ships (before conversion).:)

Thanks for that ... I agree totally they were lovely little ships before conversion. When we went aboard to have a look at the Mirlees engines I was staggered to find so much generating capacity ... 4 x 4 cylinder Blackstones....they all got taken out as they calculated she would not cope with the demand that the conversion would need ... replaced them with two units half the size and double the capacity ...... still I bought two of the engines plus some bits and pieces for NZ$16,000 as spare parts for our Dredge "Kawatiri".
