Bearing in mind how good these ships have been in the command role, when they do finally go, I wonder how much of their kit will find its way to the T45's. It will be a wasted opportunity if it doesn't.

Surely none of it. T45s are already "state of the art" so surely anything from a T22, would be redundant.

Will be interesting to see if they get sold overseas bearing in mind the quality of the ships and that the RN wanted to keep them for a few more years yet.

We will probably sell them to a country that comes into a future conflict with us. They will see a filter half way down the inside of the fwd mast that filters out the scot frequency on the radar listening equip, the country will then attack our ships using that frequency and our men will die. Or they will use our technology against us somehow, but if we get 100k for them it will be ok tho eh!

Lets hope we strip them like we did the Romanian batch 2's. If they do get the decent kit off and want to make use of it it will have to go in a few Darings, make them a bit more multi role, if we dont we're stuffed because thats all we've got! (not including Ocean/Albion etc)

Sorry about that outbreak that may have not made any sence. I just cant get over the brand new type 42's fitted out better than our own sold to a certain country. Our 42's were then attacked after much practice on their own and technical knowledge of ****** in our armour.

i guess the ones with the new deck stiffening may sell quicker than those without
