She was in the Reserve Fleet at Portsmouth tied up to the DIDO alongside the jetty, I worked on the old steamroller type boilers on the jetty supplying hot water to the ships, this was after I came home from the East Indies in 1956.

Possibly Perseus in right background, a Light Fleet Carrier fitted out as the ferry carrier for the British Pacific Fleet (although a couple of cooked breakfasts for the Nips short-circuited that employment) and so completed with no sponsons, so thatshe could pass throught the Panama Canal.
