Lovely view, I know the Ikara was not everyone’s favourite, but it did the Leanders looks no harm at all, close second behind the gun Leanders in my book.
Did Euraylus have a nickname, like the Cherry B?

Out of all of the Leanders, the Ikara Leanders had the best Combat Management System (ADAWS), variants of it were also fitted to the later DLGs, Bristol, the 3 CVS, all 12 Type 42's, Ocean and the LPDs Bulwark and Albion. Although Ikara made them quite a potent ASW platform, not having a main gun fitted did restrict the deployability of these ships (e.g. They couldn't do WIGS or FIGS alone).

It seems to be identical to the 'torch emblem' carried on HMS Torquay, Tenby, Scarborough and Eastbourne.

Ahh, I see, I think the DTS badge was changed to the Britannia image (on a blue background) in the 80's

In 1987 EURYALUS changed from Capt F1 to a Fleet Training ship. The 1st Frigate Squadron changed to the 'B' Type 22s.
