now call me old fashioned...or the likes but im not spotting a seacat launcher next to the hangar but there is the seacat director... can any one throw some light on this !

I though Sea Cat was removed when she was undergoing repairs 82/83....not sure about the director though!

Not sure now as I have a post 82 pic and I think the launcher is there... I'm still sure it was removed before she went to Chile though!!

The seacat launchers were removed during the post Falklands refit, the port side launcher was blown over the side when we were hit by an exocet in the Falklands War in 1982. The directors for each launcher were also removed during the refit and replaced by 40mm guns. I served on Glamorgan from March 1982 to Dec 1984. This photo was taken by me from RFA Blue Rover to which I was loaned to replace a signalman who was injured and flown home and was during our Gulf Deloyment from Nov 1983 to May 1984.

guess youd have more chance of hitting something with a 40 mm than seacat... many thanks for that clears up my moment of blondeness
