I sailed with a Captain in Moss Tankers called Jackie Waters ; who asked the third mate if Penelope ws pronounced " Pen Elo P or " Penn EE Lope " ?
Third mate replied Pen Elo P to which Jackie said OK go down and ask the mate if I can borrow his " Tel Es Co P "
