Apparently the ship ran aground at 0937, the Coast Guard was notified and flares sent up. A passing fishing vessel, Sunrise, evacuated all 7 crew members and took them to Scarborough where the skipper was arrested for having one too many! Not sure what happened to the skipper or his ship but the skip of the ship I was on, Regal Lady, said there would only be one more high tide to free the Honeybourne.
Can anyone inform us of the outcome?

Apparently it was the Skippers Birthday the day before and he had been ashore celebrating with his family at Scarborough ! He was arrested and had to take the breath test when it was found he was well over the 35miltrs although it was the after effects of the night before as he had not taken a drink whilst at sea.

Oh dear! Will he ever be able to get it back? Being a land lubber I'm ignorant of shipping law.
