11.3.1996: Keel laid as STENA ENDEAVOUR by Finnyards, Rauma, (Yard No. 407) for Stena Ab, Sweden.
14.12.1996: Launched as STENA DISCOVERY.
17.4.1997: Completed for Stena Line B. V. Hoek van Holland.
2000: Sold to Stena Line Ab., (Stena Line Holland B. V., managers).
2001: Sold to Stena Line Ships B.V., Hoek van Holland.
4.2009: Northern Marine Management Ltd, appointed as managers.
6.2009: Sold to Albamar CA, Venezuela and renamed HSS DISCOVERY, under Bahamas flag.
1.2011: Marine Outsourcing CA, Venezuela appointed as managers.
2015: Reported as in continued lay-up

Are there any of these still in service?

Of this trio; this one laid up; One broken-up and the third recently or imminently to be withdrawn from the Holyhead route. There is a smaller version STENA CARISMA that is/was trading Sweden/Denmark.

HSS Discovery was beached for scrapping in Aliaga, Turkey, August 2015

I guess these are similar to Concorde, great idea but rising fuel costs beat them in the end

The Stena Explorer is still here at Holyhead at the moment.
