As a rigger I worked on all these fine ships of UAC during their visits to Tilbury Docks
during the 1970's 1980's..
Never did I see one in such poor condition!

Stan, am amazed as they were usually well mainhtained and smart. Got a feeling it was down to the change of management which centred on Kuwait.

Hi Stumps,
For a time some of this class had a name change - prefix TRIDENT - Trident Beauty etc..
Possibly this one was reverting to her original name after a spell as Trident ?

Stan , I remember that time when a fair number were taken on period time-charter by the old 'Artful Dodger' , Absal Gokal under the Gulf Shipping umbrella. My experience of Gulf Shipping I think can be summed up by the fact that International Paints or Hempel Marine would have got fat on their paint orders.
