What a great photo, this shows Illyric as I remember her ,I spent 3 years in this ship as 2nd mate. Well maintained with a good crew. Sailing mainly UK - NZ with some voyages to east coast USA and the Med.

I paid off in Bluff 30th November 1973, after a one way passage out from the UK as 3rd mate, with my wife and all my worldly possessions.

When ships were ships......sigh!

Looks good in the grey hull in this shot but I prefer black.

Great photo. This was my very first ship as an engineering cadet in 1970/71. Did two great trips to NZ, Fiji, Samoa and East cooast of USA and Canada.
