Scrapped at Bombay six years later.

had the pleasure of sailing her as a fourth engineer-in 1966- my steam time was acquired on this vessel- 8500shp-westinghouse turbines- with twin boilers-600psi-babcock wilcox.i still have my old seamens discharge book.my trip was india- uk- continent- via the suez canal during the six day war, when the captain who was British was replaced by an Indian captain as the egyptians would not allow the suez canal passage with a British skipper
