I think, Isarstein was a ship of the Norddeutscher Lloyd Weserstein - Klasse, built in 1953 and 1954.

Weserstein Class: Weserstein, Werrastein, Isarstein, Travestein ( my old ship ), Havelstein, Moselstein, Neckarstein,

However, possibly the three HAPAG ships mentioned are similar looking ships.

Regards.

Hello Astra:

The three Hapag ships were (except for the shape of the funnel) absolutely identical with the Lloyd vessels when built.

MOSELSTEIN and NECKARSTEIN however, built by Howaldtswerke Hamburg A.G. were slightly different, identical with the HAPAG ships DÜSSELDORF, DARMSTADT and DORTMUND. These ships had one additional kingpost aft, were a little bit longer and wider.

Regards
Thomas
