John George entering Port Patrick harbour summer 1970. Only into private ownership and this the first trip from Donaghadee. Any previous history welcome.
Jan, Not long after this she was renamed Carol Anne. Was only for pleasure and diving.
B 8 ? Could be ,but the chain plate would hardly cover a B. Would remind me of a well proven design by a well known builder. Built 1966 do you think ,a bit soon to be pensoined off.

Hello Wully / Donald / Kelpie, no name of the builder, when she was PD 448 the owners were: John Thomas, Newcastle and George Wilson, North Shields.
She is in Olsen with just a B and no number, her owner was : Richard W. Greeves, Donaghadee, Co. Down.
Jan.
Jan indeed R. Greeves is at the wheel, his wife on the bow line and my ex doing what she does best ! There was talk of a Manx skipper being skipper on her but I don't think it materialised, never knew her to throw a net over the side.
Wully is there not a similarity in your the vessel in your signature photo ?
Crawford.
