King Harry Ferry

King Harry Ferry

Lovely detail onboard the ferry.
We took the ferry 4 times on one day :-)
Staying in Sait Mawes we were going to Lands End for the day, so we made the crossing. Afther a stop half way to have a look at a yard full off oldtimers we arrived at Penzance. When i went to parkingmeter to pay i noticed i had lost my wallet.
What to do?? The only sollution was driving back as i had made a sanitaire stop just of the ferry somewhere along the B3289. And yes when we got there, afther a long drive, wallet was in the bushes alright. In meantime we found out camera battery was almost dead, so as we were that far back we went onto the ferry for second time to go to hotel and pick up the forgotten full battery. Afther doing so back on the ferry ( 3rd time) to go direction of Lands End. Terrible weather there, could only make 3 photo's , the rest of the country had a heatwave.
Late that night we catched the ferry back, 4th time.
Exhausted we got back, not the greatest day of our holiday. :-(

Would that Be The Sun. I Used stay at an old Farm Called Tregarvaen on the Road between St Mawes and St. Just, it was a working farm in those days but it's now holliday homes. Great times. I think the other hotel is The Rocks. All the best Jack. Rgds. Tony.
