This was the first time that I ever saw this lovely little ship, I was captivated by her. I saw her a few years later in Bergen and then, in 2008 I sailed on her. A fantastic experience.

Built as a steamer in 1960 in Oskarshamn in Sweden, a shipyard now closed. Her name was just BORE (the Nordic weather and winter god) and missed the classical number in the shipname that the BORE ships had normally like BORE I, BORE II, BORE III etc - and this ship was nicknamed in Sweden and Finland - the "BORE ZERO" ("Bore-Nolla&quot.
