The ship between Mir and Maria Kosmas (ex HMAS Cook) must be the Vergina Sky ex Yufu Maru (http://www.faktaomfartyg.se/yufu_1971.htm), scrapped in Turkey in 2004. I don't know if La Palma was owned by Louis Cruises at the time... Could it still be Intercruise of Mr. Louris?

Yes, you are right. The ship is "Vergina Sky". The whole team spent many years in Eleusis Bay, with the addition of varius ships, such as "Leros", etc.

Are there many ships laid up there now? It's a place I'd like to have seen when there were.

Nowdays, there arent' many passenger ships.

There are a big number of bulk carriers and other ships.

But the scene of today is not like the photo.

Very nice photo. I wonder which ships are at the moment laid up in the area. What is the fate of the ferries to be seen in the photo? Still existing or broken up?
