This ship has a sister sailing in New Zealand as RANGATIRA, built in 1970 in Denmark as BOKUL.
Any further details for the LANCRESSE?

Hi David,
Rangatira looks like from same mould? the name Rangatira reminds me of the NZSC although size, type and trade tell me different.

Yes, same name as the former Union SS Company ferry - actually there were two RANGATIRA's over the years in the Wellington-Lyttelton service.

I forgot to mention the Skurin has removed her derricks and fitted a crane amidships. as she delivers bags of fish feed to fishfarms in faroe and shetland isles.

Did she carry explosives at some time? I know derrick Goubert well, he has owned a couple of ships, before it became uneconomic to be a driver / owner.
